Position Overview:
Mursion is at the forefront of creating the latest EdTech category and we are seeking a Business Development Director (BDD) to join our growing sales team. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and skilled at selling to enterprise accounts. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of success that thrives in a fast-paced, self-starter environment. BDD works in collaboration with cross-functional teams composed of marketing, client experience, and products to build a book of enterprise level business. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience of taking a large enterprise account from generating interest, qualifying and through to closed won.This is an FT, salaried, and fully remote position reporting to the Sr.
VP of Sales and Marketing. The compensation package includes a $125k base salary + competitive commission plan that, if successful, could result in an $300K OTE.
Responsibilities:
- Open to new opportunities which includes prospecting and responding to leads.
- Present/demo the Mursion platform to decision-makers and influencers.
- Develop and execute an account sales plan.
- Reach the assigned annual quota including quarterly milestones.
- Manage the customer’s purchasing and contracting process
- Document sales activity and pipeline status in the CRM system
- Build a sales pipeline
- Provide accurate forecasts.
- Report on marketing conditions and customer feedback to executive staff
Qualifications:
- Professional Sales Executive calling on large (Fortune 1000) Enterprise Accounts
- 8 to 15 years of Sales experience
- Experience with the Challenger Sales Methodology or other sales methodologies
- Background in Digital Learning, Digital Transformation, or Leadership Development strongly preferred
- Experience in Business Transformation/Organizational Management a plus
- MBA or MS in Organization Leadership/Organizational Development a plus
- Domain experience selling similar or related solutions.
- List of contacts at enterprise accounts is expected.
- Documented record of selling large and strategic programs is required.
- Highly motivated professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with technology (GoogleSuite, CRM, Social Media, etc.)
