Are you ready to embrace the future with us?About the Role:ROGII is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Tax Accountant to manage our internal tax operations and support our financial objectives.
As a key member of our finance team, you will provide expert tax advice, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and optimize tax strategies for the company. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining our financial health and ensuring accurate and reliable tax reporting.Job Type:Full-timeResponsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal, state/provincial, and local tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Research and implement tax-saving strategies.
- Maintain accurate tax records and ensure timely filing of tax documents.
- Provide tax advice on transactions and business activities.
- Support internal and external tax audits and prepare documentation.
- Monitor and assess changes in tax laws and their impact.
- Identify and implement process improvements for tax efficiency.
- Collaborate with external advisors and communicate tax updates to stakeholders.
- Train and support junior tax staff and finance team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax preparation and reporting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Additional Beneficial Experience:
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant) certification is an asset.
- Familiarity with international financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance frameworks.
