The Manager, Training & Enablement will help us build and deliver on the strategy for our customer and employee education and training related to our software platform. We are seeking an innovative customer and employee education (adult learning) expert to join us and transform our software and platform training and education programs for our customers (current and prospective) and new employees.In this role you will collaborate internally with the Thentia teams and externally with our regulatory customers to solve unique challenges faced within the industry, in terms of launching a new product and educating Regulatory staff to maximize product features.
You will manage and motivate a team of Senior Trainers to deliver effective training and an excellent training experience to learners. You will assist Thentia’s sales and implementation teams in delivering world-class consulting services to improve our client’s regulatory effectiveness, efficiency, and adoption of our leading regulatory software platform. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver on a strategy to enable customers and employees with the requisite capability to adopt and use Thentia’s software products.
- Manage the delivery of employee and customer training related to our platform and delivery, including a team of trainers.
- Manage the program of training activities and schedule, including standard training, customized training and ad hoc training requests from the business and from customers.
- Monitor the progress of customer and employee training using relevant program and project management tools.
- Provide expertise in Thentia’s response to client RFPs as it relates to education and training.
- Coach project execution teams by transferring knowledge related to best practices and providing education support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide educational expert representative support during business development opportunities, advancing the offer and creating revenue and profitability growth.
- Collaborate and work closely with the in-house product team to develop educational strategic goals as they relate to new product features while becoming an expert on the Thentia product.
- Participate in design walkthroughs with architects, designers, developers, and clients as it relates to educational needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor and client advocate during onboarding engagements both remotely and on-site, to shape the experience of customers as it relates to their educational needs.
- Foster high value client relationships by demonstrating a clear understanding of the client business and identifying the appropriate solutions to address the client’s unique educational need.
- Deliver training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in delivery of adult education programs and training.
- At least 2 years of experience in ‘customer education’ specifically in software education and enablement of enterprise grade software platforms.
- Prior experience in leading, coaching, and inspiring a dispersed training and education team responsible for delivery virtual, digital, and facilitated learning experiences and building knowledge bases.
- Undergraduate degree in an industry-related field, MEd, or similar education coupled with equivalent work experience, and certificate in adult learning and education (AEC).
- Strong background in consulting and advisory services is preferred.
- Proficiency in modern office software suites, including Office 365, Google Workspace, and project tools such as ClickUp, JIRA, Zendesk, and learning tools such as Docebo, Moodle, Captivate, PowerPoint, Camtasia, or AI authoring design tools.
- Flexible schedule and ability to travel when required within Canada and internationally.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex legal concepts and process such as regulatory requirements and processes and translate these into educational requirements discussions.
- Collaborative, team-oriented, highly resourceful, and self-directed, and project-oriented delivery mindset.
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills with expertise to deliver training to professional audiences.
