About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Engineer specializing in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) to join our cloud engineering team. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud services and best practices in architecture and security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, scaling, and optimizing our cloud environments to support our organizational needs.
What you will do:
- Design, implement, and maintain all aspects of our cloud infrastructure, including storage, networking, and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand needs and provide cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure architecture meets industry best practices and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis and deliver cost-effective solutions for cloud-based systems.
- Automate cloud deployments using Terraform
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the cloud infrastructure.
- Implement robust disaster recovery plans and ensure data integrity and security.
- Stay current with new cloud services and other industry developments.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Strong understanding of AWS core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route 53, AWS Security, IAM, Lambda and others.
- Experience with ECS container orchestration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Powershell).
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and security best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues spanning multiple systems and environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience in a multi-account AWS environment.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure)
