The Sr. IT Support Specialist will provide Tier 1 (frontline) and Tier II (escalated issues) support. They will be responsible for providing daily onsite technical support, in addition to managing projects and participating in system implementations.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Complete onboarding and offboarding tasks.
- Research, purchase, and configure hardware for new users.
- Maintain Azure and InTune environments.
- Responsible for fixing daily IT work order tickets.
- Establish specifications and best practices of network and server related infrastructure.
- Manage VPN clients and access.
- Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process, and the ongoing effort to improve our service, IT systems, documentation, and processes.
- Perform preventative maintenance on IT systems and networks, monitors system performance and accuracy.
- Locate and implement companywide efficiencies.
- Perform complex root-cause analysis to identify issues.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Required qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in the IT field.
- Familiarity and has worked with Outlook and Microsoft programs.
- Experience with troubleshooting complex computer problems.
- Experience with project management and development life cycle tools including Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.
- Asset management.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20%, both domestically and internationally.
- High school diploma.

- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree.
- FortiGate experience.
