Senior IT Support Specialist

The Sr. IT Support Specialist will provide Tier 1 (frontline) and Tier II (escalated issues) support. They will be responsible for providing daily onsite technical support, in addition to managing projects and participating in system implementations.
Duties and responsibilities:

  • Complete onboarding and offboarding tasks.

  • Research, purchase, and configure hardware for new users.

  • Maintain Azure and InTune environments.
  • Responsible for fixing daily IT work order tickets.
  • Establish specifications and best practices of network and server related infrastructure.
  • Manage VPN clients and access.

  • Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process, and the ongoing effort to improve our service, IT systems, documentation, and processes.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on IT systems and networks, monitors system performance and accuracy.
  • Locate and implement companywide efficiencies.
  • Perform complex root-cause analysis to identify issues.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Required qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the IT field. 
  • Familiarity and has worked with Outlook and Microsoft programs.
  • Experience with troubleshooting complex computer problems.
  • Experience with project management and development life cycle tools including Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.
  • Asset management.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, both domestically and internationally.
  • High school diploma.

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree.
  • FortiGate experience.
