In addition, the Maintenance Technician will assist with electrical and general maintenance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work safely and comply with all safety processes
- Comply with quality system work instruction
- Monitor, diagnose, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment and systems as directed
- Completing PM’s
- Completing PdM routes
- Responding to breakdowns
- Fabricating
- Installing
- Operate mobile equipment
- Operate basic Machine Shop Equipment (Drill Press, bandsaw, lathe, grinders)
- Documenting corrective actions within the ONE Maintenance system as required
Qualifications and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous mechanical or electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete Our Next Energy’s hiring process requirements which include comprehensive assessments and background checks
- Must be comfortable working in a semi-clean room atmosphere, including gowning or lab coats, hair nets, gloves and safety glasses as required
- Must be able to read, write, and understand work instructions, blueprints and documentation
- Must be able to use computer based work tools
Preferred Experience:
- Associates degree in related field
- Completion of at least 8 year’s experience in a Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics trade or a certified apprenticeship as a Electrical (Electrician), Mechanical (Millwright, Toolmaker, Pipefitter, Machine Repair) or Mechatronic trade.
- Prior experience working with/repairing power transmission, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, seals, pumps & fans, basic rigging, and basic fabrication
- Knowledge of PLC’s VFD’s, servo controllers, temperature control, and HMI systems is a plus
- Welding experience
- Ability to operate advanced Machine Shop equipment such as lathes and CNC mills
Work Schedule:
- Work schedule to be established with supervisor to ensure Company’s client and business needs are met. This position will include overtime as required.
