Description
The Sales Development Manager is responsible for driving the Sales Development team's results through training, coaching, and problem-solving. The manager will partner with FMX leadership and other departments to execute company and department strategies. The manager will uphold standards to ensure that sales goals are met or exceeded for the Sales Development team. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive, results-oriented individual who is ready to take their sales leadership experience to the next level.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Director of Sales Development.
- Ensuring the Sales Development team attains or exceeds their goals for pipeline and pipeline opps monthly, quarterly, and annually. This is done when a meeting set (MS) becomes a Sales Accepted (SA) meeting, and an opportunity goes from Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) to Qualified or further through the pipeline cycle.
- Coaching and training SDRs to become A players. Helping the SDRs with following workflows, prospecting, emailing, cold calling, and follow ups. Routinely monitor and give feedback on recorded calls weekly per rep for outbound / inbound prospecting calls.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales Development and other departments to keep flows and messaging updated and current for the SDRs.
- Resolve routine problems and act as the first point of escalation for SDRs.
- Elevate issues or questions to the Director of Sales Development as necessary.
- Ensure SDRs execute the job based on approved department and company policy and procedures.
- Monitor KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly while holding reps accountable for their metrics.
- Identify patterns that need to be addressed and communicate concerns to the Director of Sales Development.
- Make recommendations to the Director of Sales Development regarding plans for improvement (PIPs).
- Provide SDR quarterly performance reviews.
- Lead all or portions of SDR team huddles, meetings, and training sessions with SDRs.
- Identify ways to streamline workflow, improve processes or procedures, and present plans to the Director of Sales Development for input and approval.
Requirements

- A minimum 2 Year of sales experience
- Previous sales coaching experience.
- Ability to work in a team setting with new ideas populating frequently
- Experience providing constructive feedback to direct reports, colleagues, and peers
- Ability to manage schedules and deliver results by the desired deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional Problem Solver with a high figure it out mindset.

Compensation:
- The base salary range for this position is expected to be $80,000. This position is also eligible for commissions. On target earnings for this position is $110,000-120,000.
