We have an opening for a Plant Supervisor for 3rd shift. This will be a working role, so you will stay in your current job in addition to taking on supervisory tasks.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Report attendance issues to Department Supervisors.
- Ensure time and attendance guidelines are followed.
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Ensure Department Supervisor directives are followed and goals are reached.
- Support Leads to ensure they continue to meet productivity goals.
- Address production barriers to meet goals.
- Build relationships with all Associates on their shifts, especially new hires.
- Support Associates.
- Understand overview of each area in their shift to assist with roadblocks.
- Be able to assist Department Supervisor in evaluating talent to ensure the right people are working the right area.
- Directly address any behavioral/disciplinary issues in partnership with director/HR.
- Communicate shift hand off data for shift change when a Lead is not available (manage beginning or end of shift depending on absences).
- Communicate any roadblocks that will affect shift productivity with Department Supervisors.
