Job Summary:
As the Director of Human Resources, you will oversee all aspects of the HR department, ensuring that HR strategies are aligned with Core One’s business goals. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with at least 12 years of experience who can manage complex employee relations, compliance with federal contractor regulations, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HR department, overseeing onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations, including OFCCP, EEO, FLSA, and other applicable labor laws.
- Manage employee benefits, compensation plans, and performance evaluation systems.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive work culture and provide strategic advice to senior leadership on human capital management.
- Lead training and development programs to foster career growth and employee retention.
- Serve as a resource for conflict resolution, ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices in HR management, including government contracting regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Active security clearance is preferred
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience
- Experience working in a government contracting environment
- Comprehensive understanding of HR principles, including employment law, talent management, and employee relations.
- Proven ability to align HR initiatives with organizational strategy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to navigate complex employee relations matters and foster a positive workplace environment.
- HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
