About the role:  


As our Senior Advanced Solutions Engineer (ASE) at Lumafield, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful integration and utilization of our products & solutions for our clients. You will be the lead on all ASE matters, establishing best practices for this growing team. The ASE team is central to supporting the sales cycle and deployment of solutions to existing customers. Your primary responsibilities will include executing evaluation scanning, creating configured solutions, and providing tier 1 and tier 2 support.

What you'll do:


  • Set the bar of excellence for a growing ASE organization within a growing company.
  • Report on execution metrics such as our evaluation pipeline or helpdesk tickets.
  • Support customer evaluations of our products, providing top-quality data with quick turnarounds.
  • Iterate on manufacturing solutions where scan optimizations are foundational to data quality.
  • Leverage the existing tools & products we have to configure new inspection solutions.
  • Communicate requirements for tools we need to add to deliver inspection solutions at scale.
  • Test and validate inspection solutions are robust and ready for the field prior to deployment.
  • Play with tools in our sandbox to test emerging ideas, tools, and technologies.
  • Handle & coordinate Level 1 and Level 2 support from our customer base with speed and clarity.

About you:


  • You have an engineering degree and hands-on experience with inspection hardware.
  • You have experience in crafting & supporting industrial inspection solutions.
  • You approach new problems with curiosity and maintain a problem-solving mindset.
  • You value collaboration and have worked in a customer-facing position previously.
  • Enjoy following, improving, and documenting processes to help an organization scale.
  • Are excited about approaching undocumented technology and working to establish best practices.

Bonus points:


  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience supporting or deploying machine vision applications, especially 3D vision or AI applications.
  • Experience leading a technical support team.
  • Experience with factory-floor communication protocols.
  • A portfolio of your work you can share.
