Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of DevOps pipelines to support the IRS’s IT modernization initiatives.
- Provide expertise in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
- Automate the deployment and scaling of applications using modern DevOps methodologies.
- Ensure integration of IAM solutions (PingOne, PingIdentity) within the DevOps framework.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve system reliability.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of DevOps tools and workflows, ensuring alignment with IRS standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with hands-on expertise in CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
- Experience with IAM systems and integration within DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with IRS IT environments or similar government agencies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Minimum Eligibility:
- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
