SI Group, a Strongpoint Partner, is located in Honolulu, HI and is seeking a motivated and client-service focused Account Administrator Assistant.
This role is a full-time, on-site position, and this person will primarily be assisting Account Administrators with the administration of qualified retirement plans, including 401(k), profit sharing, defined benefit and cash balance plans. Prior experience or knowledge with qualified retirement plans is a plus, but not a requirement as training will be provided. The qualifications for this position are:
What you'll do:
- Gathering census information and other data necessary for plan administration
- Efficient and timely communication via phone or email with clients and plan advisors, in a clear, concise and informative manner
- Assisting in the preparation of participant loan and distribution forms and assisting with the transition of funds by preparing transfer instructions
- Importing information into ASC (compliance testing software) and efficiently utilizing technology to perform a variety of tasks
- Ensuring our administrative services to our clients are met by proactively reviewing the status of assigned plans’ periodic activity (data gathering, compliance testing, Form 5500, statements, distributions, etc.)
- Following company security measures for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data to ensure against unauthorized access/disclosure and/or improper transmission
Who you are:
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university; Equivalent years of experience considered
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM software
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Exceptional approach to client service focusing on communications, being proactive with client needs and providing timely solutions
- Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity and to seek to continuously improve service
