a.i. solutions is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Ground Systems Engineer to support the NASA Launch Services Program part-time at the Kennedy Space Center. The individual will be assigned to the Vehicle Engineering and Analysis (VE&A) department performing tasks related to commercial launch vehicle systems and supporting our NASA customer. The position will ensure that NASA maintains insight into the launch vehicle and spacecraft capabilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to embrace the a.i. solutions mission and work to continually exceed the expectations of our customers.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
- Read system level diagrams and high-level electrical schematics and translate them to effective displays for monitoring the health and status of electrical ground/control systems
- Develop software tools to efficiently gather, organize, display, and analyze ground system data
- Experience with Python programming
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and OneNote
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuit of a college degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or Physics
- Enrolled full time for Fall 2024
- U.S. Citizenship required
