Business Development expert to spearhead our sales efforts for two prominent, locally-owned companies: a leading provider of blinds, shades, and shutters, and a signage business with over 25 years of industry success. This position is crucial for expanding our footprint in the region, collaborating with strategic ownership that has a proven history of doubling and tripling business growth.

Who We’re Looking For:


  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in managing sales territories and driving growth. B2B and B2C sales experience with a focus on relationship-building is essential. Experience building a sales territory from scratch is a plus!
  • Goal-Oriented: You take initiative in setting and achieving ambitious sales targets, with a strong desire to grow the territory and meet monthly revenue goals.
  • Strategic Relationship Builder: You excel in establishing long-term relationships with key stakeholders and are comfortable interfacing on a B2B level with professionals in construction, real estate, and interior design.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with CRM systems and digital sales platforms, you value the insights they provide and leverage tools for lead generation, tracking progress, and maintaining organization.
  • Independent & Flexible: Capable of working autonomously while aligning with overall business goals, you adapt easily and create new processes when recognizing a need.

What We Offer:


  • Base Salary:$47k-$51k annually, plus commission.
  • Year 1 Earnings Potential:$70k-$80k+!
  • Year 2 Earnings Potential:$100k+ in year two and beyond!
  • Paid Time Off: 7 sick days, 1 week of vacation, and 6 paid holidays annually.
  • Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursement during the training period, with a company vehicle provided afterward.
  • Tools & Technology: We equip you with the necessary technology and tools to excel in your role.
  • Flexible Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility to meet the needs of your territory and sales goals.
  • Comprehensive Training: A 60-90 day training program to ensure your success.

A Day in the Life...


Territory Growth & Brand Awareness:


  • Proactively expand the company’s presence in your territory by promoting our signage and window treatment services.
  • Network within the construction, real estate, and design communities to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Represent our brands at industry events, trade shows, and local expos to drive awareness and generate leads.
  • Develop creative outbound sales strategies to grow your territory and spark interest.

B2B Sales & Account Management:


  • Manage B2B sales for our signage business, focusing on relationship-building with construction firms, real estate developers, and designers.
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships with existing and potential clients, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs.
  • Build a reputation for excellent service, reliability, and quality within your territory.

Lead Generation & Sales Strategy:


  • Own the lead generation process, managing a mix of company-generated and self-sourced leads.
  • Utilize lead generation tools and follow up with prospective clients to convert opportunities into sales.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust your sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly revenue goals.
  • Distribute promotional materials in key areas, including new construction neighborhoods, to enhance brand visibility.

B2C Sales & Customer Experience:


  • Oversee the sales and consultation process for window treatments, ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to installation.
  • Conduct in-home consultations and installations for blinds and window treatments, dedicating 2-3 days per week to client appointments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
