What you’ll do:
Work as part of our technology team to design and build Looker and LookML-based reporting and analytics software for ZEFR’s growing array of data-driven content managementsolutions. Implement reporting infrastructure for the technology that can ‘learn from’ and understand hundreds of millions of videos through ‘big data’ content analysis and extraction ofuseful (e.g., licensed content) data. Contribute to the development of software and analysis of complex data for ZEFR’s large-scale distributed systems, including deigning analytical frameworks and machine learning models to facilitate the expansion of key web-based applications for processing large amounts of data.
Optimize ZEFR’s current data platform to reduce computation, increase efficiency, and decrease operation costs. Design, test, develop, implement, and deploy novel solutions for selecting, integrating, and visualizing data reports collected from a multitude of sources across social media partner platforms by leveraging the latest in information technology, data science, machine learning (ML) and computer vision. Translate large amounts of data into actionable insights to provide well-written and predictive models and solutions based on predictive analytics, machine learning, computer vision, and related technologies. Write complex and specialized code in Java, Python, SQL, and Spark to support large data pipelines. Develop new feature requests, supports, and improvements on existing data pipelines by exploring and integrating new technologies and design patterns in Java or Scala.
What we’re looking for:
Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field plus two (2) years of data engineering, software development, or related experience: designing and developing reporting environments; building reports and dashboards utilizing Looker/Look ML; developing freeform SQL reports to meet complex business requirements; upgrading and migrating data to Google Cloud Platform; implementing CI/CD for data component micro services; designing and deploying rich graphic visualizations using Tableau; building and scheduling automation workflows for deployments and tests; automating quality assurance processes; building usage analysis dashboards using Platform Analytics; and utilizing Looker/LookerML, Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform, Big Query, Tableau, Jenkins, Apache Hive, and JIRA.

Compensation (for US based employees):
The anticipated salary for this position is $180,000.
