ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Perform landscape architecture design under the close supervision of a senior landscape architect including hardscape detailing and grading. 
  • Participate in project related meetings to coordinate activities and communicate designs. 
  • Assist with preparation of landscape architecture deliverables including models, drawings and other project related documentation. 
  • Participate in field surveys, condition assessments and site investigations. 
  • Perform construction administration related tasks including submittal review, responding to RFI’s and observation of construction related activities. 

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS:


  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Landscape Architecture from accredited program required.  
  • 2 to 4 years of related landscape architecture experience required.  Focus on public and recreation markets a plus. 
  • CAD/BIM experience required.  Knowledgeable in GIS and Civil 3D a plus.  
  • Experience with ornamental and native plantings of the Midwest a plus. 
  • Strong communicator with the ability to interact with a variety of internal clients.  
  • Responsible for personal task management and meeting scope and schedule. 
  • Self-starter with the desire to learn the industry.
