Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our Middleware Support team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in IT systems engineering and be capable of providing comprehensive support for Middleware COTS platforms, with additional O&M and Development.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions for complex IT problems.
  • Perform detailed analyses and studies, prepare comprehensive reports, and deliver presentations.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and troubleshooting utilities and installation packages using Perl, Ansible playbooks, and shell scripts.
  • Manage enterprise integration platforms, including installing, configuring, and supporting COTS products and corresponding applications on servers.
  • Provide 24x7x365 production technical support for weekend deployment windows and on-call triage.
  • Respond to IRWorks issues (trouble tickets) according to their severity and provide RCA input for reports.
  • Support Middleware Management in monitoring infrastructure production performance and optimizing system performance.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT systems engineering roles.
  • Expertise in Middleware products such as WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, SiteMinder, CA Directory, Informatica, WebMethods, BOE, IBM MQ Series, QMail, and XML Gateway.
  • Strong understanding of various operating systems including Solaris, Linux, Mainframe, and Windows.
  • Proficiency in automation and containerization tools such as Ansible Tower and OpenShift.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in an agile lifecycle environment such as Scrum or Kanban.

Minimum Eligibility:

  • Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
