Job Summary


PCS is seeking a Product Owner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the vision and execution of our ERISA recordkeeping product line. This role requires a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

Job Responsibilities


  • Define and manage product roadmaps to realize business goals and strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product.
  • Lead, manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholder management for the product(s).
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes.
  • Work closely with product management and senior management to create a product that fits the company portfolio.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Use data to inform decisions and optimize product performance. 
  • Effectively manage and allocate resources across the product development lifecycle
  • Opportunity to eventually lead and manage a team as the role and organization grow. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product ownership or management, preferably in the ERISA recordkeeping industry.
  • Strong understanding of ERISA regulations and recordkeeping processes and recordkeeping systems
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certified Product Owner (CPO) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

Remote Work Information


For all virtual remote positions, in order to ensure employees can effectively perform their job duties with no distractions, we require an uninterrupted virtual work space and there is also an expectation of family care being in place during business hours. Compensation Information


The average salary for this position is expected to be between $75,000 and $130,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis. Other rewards and benefits may include: 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, paid-time off, etc.
