Hopefully you enjoy the frenetic, dynamic, and exciting environment of a fast-growing firm, because we’re looking for dynamic Account Manager II.The ideal candidate will manage the profitability and growth of 3-5 accounts for West Cary Group.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee strategic planning and creative development/execution
- Establish and manage program budgets and timelines
- Forecasts and tracks client account metrics
- Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Develop new opportunities to grow the client’s business through branding and marketing efforts
- Internally work in tandem with the creative team to deliver high quality, on time branding and marketing solutions
- Awareness of marketing trends and innovations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must execute strategic and tactical planning to meet client needs
- Must maintain project budgets and administration to achieve sales profitability
- Must contribute to new business opportunities, including idea contribution, research and proposal preparation
- Must develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executives
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
- 3-5 years of advertising agency experience and a solid grasp of the fundamentals of marketing and advertising
- Experience in traditional marketing channels (print, television, radio, point of sale, promotions) as well as newer media like online marketing, social networking, blogs, etc.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation/pitch skills
- Proactive, solutions-oriented attitude
- Flexibility (e.g. the ability to handle an account where deadlines are tight and client preferences may change suddenly and with short notice)
- The ability to both work independently and function as a high performing team member
- An innate desire to operate at the top of your game and deliver the best creative product
- Commitment to bringing consistent thought leadership in support of the client’s marketing and communication needs
- Relationship management, project management or process management experience is a plus

Salary DescriptionSalary Range: $75,100 to 82,600 Yearly
