SUMMARY: Elligo’s Human Resources (HR) Specialist plays a pivotal role in the seamless delivery of high-quality HR operations and customer service to all Elligo employees. The Specialist role provides multi-faceted support to a dynamic team of HR professionals and will have responsibilities around new hires and onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, 401k and payroll auditing, and administration. As a conceptual thinker with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, the HR Specialist will contribute to the attainment of departmental goals and performance results.
Maintaining complete confidentiality, the HR Specialist will liaise with other Elligo departments and functions and will work to build relationships across all levels of the organization. RequirementsESSENTIAL DUTIES:Onboarding
- Schedule/send new hire orientation calendar invites for required meetings
- Generate and send emails to new hires to provide Onboarding information
- Coordinate with new hires for signature on job description and reformatting of resume
- Initiate reference and background checks within new hire process and follow up to ensure timely receipt of required new hire documentation
- Assist with the facilitation of New Hire Orientation Calls
Compliance
- Management and maintenance of digital employee records
- Management and maintenance of job description files, ensuring accurate updated job descriptions are on file for each Elligo job title.
- Complete Employee Verifications in a timely manner
- Respond to Unemployment Claims in a timely manner
- Complete I-9 forms, verify I-9 documentation and maintain electronic I-9 files to be audit ready at all times
- Accurate and timely data entry into Elligo platforms (HRIS, ATS)
- Creating periodic reports relating to employee attrition, retention, hiring, and terminations
Employee Relations
- Perform work assignments linked to departmental projects.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries and escalate as needed
- Assist with Performance Management/review process
- Assist with processing of terminations – emails, calculation of voluntary termination benefit deductions, create shipping labels for laptop returns, send JIRA notices
Benefits
- Assist with open enrollment
- Assist with monthly Benefits Bill Reconciliation
- Assist in adjusting the cost of benefit enrollments for QLE’s and New Hires to deliver to Payroll
- Collaborate on Wellness Wednesday posts in Paylocity Community

- Working understanding of human resources principles, practices and procedures
- Intermediate level skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- At least two years’ human resources experience.
