The DevOps Engineer will lead complex projects and drive automation efforts across our GCP infrastructure. This role will require deep expertise in building and managing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), CI/CD, and observability tools, with a focus on maintaining high availability, security standards, and actively participating in the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process and on-call rotation.
Problems You Will Solve
- Architect and manage large-scale, complex Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) on GCP.
- Drive the enhancement of CI/CD pipelines.
- Help in the migration to new and more effective observability tools.
- Develop and optimize efficient infrastructure provisioning as code.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all cloud-based services.
- Lead and participate in RCA processes to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to critical issues to maintain system uptime.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE or cloud engineering roles.
- Expertise in GCP, with a solid understanding of cloud architecture, best practices, and IaaS.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Strong experience in automation, scripting, and configuration management.
- Experience in software development is preferred.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects, participating in RCA processes, and handling on-call duties.
