The Senior Accountant is primarily responsible for participating in GAAP financial report preparation, consolidations/eliminations, journal entries, account analyses and reconciliations, and audit support. The role may also include assistance with other aspects of accounting and reporting, or special projects, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of successful experience in accounting or audit function.
- CPA or CPA eligible.
Primary Job Functions:
- Preparing GAAP financial statements and related disclosures, including supporting schedules.
- Performing accounting entries, such as eliminations, non-controlling interests, leases.
- Reviewing preliminary trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets for accuracy.
- Performing monthly and quarterly analytics as assigned, including research of variances.
- Other Ad-hoc requirements as needed.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned, which may relate to technical accounting, business acquisitions, system enhancements, etc.

Skills & Competencies Required:
- Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP.
- Advanced MS Excel ability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Oracle EBS general ledger experience a plus.
- Workiva software experience a plus.
