Our clients rely on us to deliver accurate and reliable index data that helps them make informed decisions. We are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused individual to join our Client Services team as a Client Service Associate for our custom and data licensing Index clients. This role will wear many hats and have exposure to many areas of the firm, and will be integral in developing and refining our processes as we continue to expand.Job Description:The Client Service Associate will be responsible for onboarding new clients as well as servicing and maintaining them.

You will work closely with both the client and various internal teams, including legal, to ensure that contracts are completed and SalesForce is updated. You will have the opportunity to work directly with a global Sales team, assisting them with marketing materials, sales reporting, and pipeline management in SalesForce. You will also help to build the controls and procedures around permissioning contacts with access to information in our proprietary Portal. Your role will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

Client Onboarding, User Permissions, and Maintenance


  • Client Onboarding: You will be interfacing with the client to ensure the key deliverables are included in the contract, ensuring that information is communicated effectively internally, contracts are written accurately, and information is saved in SalesForce.
  • Contract Management: You will be drafting contracts using predefined Templates and working with Sales to complete the Service Level Agreements required. You will interface at times with the client as well as with legal, and drive the process to signature.
  • SalesForce: You will be responsible for entering key data points into SalesForce in a timely manner, ensuring information is up to date in the sales pipeline and developing internal high-level reporting.

Sales Support


  • Sales Pipeline: You will track and maintain deals in the sales pipeline using SalesForce, ensuring information is complete, accurate and timely. You will work with sales teams to develop and enhance activity reporting seen by senior leaders and the Board.
  • Sales Campaigns: You will work with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute on sales campaigns to prospective clients; helping to create materials, curate mailing lists, and report on results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. finance, business management, computer science, engineering); MBA a plus
  • 4+ years of experience in indexing industry or customer service with emphasis on maintaining permissions and controls
  • Solutions-oriented, with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills; driven to discover the root cause of issues and initiate solutions internally to improve processes
  • Ability to identify, escalate and resolve client inquiries with confidence
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable in a virtual team work environment with the ability to work independently and self-motivate
  • Experience in SalesForce a requirement; other reporting and analytics background is a plus
