Alcion is looking for a results-driven Sales Talent with experiences building Managed Service Providers (MSP's) Channel Partners, Alliance Partner, Enterprise, and Commercial Sales with a focus on driving revenue growth. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, self-motivated individual who thrives in dynamic and fast-moving environments, who has exceptional communication skills, and who has a proven track record in building successful partnerships.The ideal candidate has experience with software infrastructure, ideally sold as SaaS, and knowledge of areas such as backup, DR, data protection, and business continuity.

With strong communication skills, the candidate will work with all groups within Alcion, including leadership, and all our external partners. They will also have experience building partner programs and have demonstrated success in partner recruitment, partner enablement and meeting company goals.

Your Expertise


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial sales with experience in channel sales, or business development roles in the tech or cloud services industry
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of achieving growth targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build and execute sales strategies to exceed sales targets
  • Ability to collaborate with Marketing and Partners on strategies to build visibility, brand awareness and identify new opportunities
  • Ability to understand customer business and financial needs, and critically qualify market opportunities
  • Ability to generate and qualify leads
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners and MSPs
  • Strong Negotiation and Closing Skills
  • Ability to accurately define, project and forecast key metrics
  • Highly organized individual, with the ability to plan, execute, and pay attention to details without losing sight of the company vision and strategy
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Additional Plus


  • Direct experience with the Microsoft ecosystem and/or a strong background in backup technology solutions, understanding their market dynamics and customer pain points.
  • Work experience at early-stage startups
  • Experience running customer or partner advisory boards
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, SaaS, and data protection solutions is a strong plus

  • Alcion is a distributed, remote-only team and currently spans multiple time zones. Hiring Process


  • We start with a 45-minute online meeting. Assuming there’s a mutual fit, we run through an interview loop with 3-4 team members (45-60 minutes each). We will ask you to give a short overview about yourself and your previous work to the entire company so that interviews can concentrate on richer and deeper conversations and not repeat time doing resume reviews.
  • Once you are done talking to everyone on your loop, we will reach back out within a week with a decision. The offer process is straightforward and can be completed quickly (within a day or two if needed).
