Working as part of the Risk & Compliance team the Onboarding Analysts are responsible for the successful registration and accreditation of all customers. The team works as part of the Implementation cycle to ensure we can onboard our customers quickly, efficiently and compliantly. Specialising in CDD and KYC/B, the Onboarding team interacts daily with Product, Tech and Customer facing teams to enhance customer experience from the very start of their onboarding journey.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day KYC/KYB processes across Token.io portfolio of clients and merchants
- Undertake screening of individuals/legal entities on an ongoing basis, working hits or discounting false positives
- Collect accurate and up-to-date data, ensuring all the required information and checks are captured and performed within the required timeframes set out by the company’s policies and procedures
- Perform complex data analysis and evaluate high-risk clients based on a risk-based approach along with publicly available information, own research, and knowledge of the market
- Synthesise and write risk assessment reports for wider consideration within the Company
- Work independently and in a timely fashion to hit required deadlines
- Escalate issues to senior management when necessary
- Cooperate with internal stakeholders to assist and provide guidance regarding client onboarding
Experience and attributes we are looking for:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in Compliance/Onboarding and within a regulated company
- Bachelor's Degree and/or AML Certification preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably an additional European language
- Ability to critically think and assess complex issues
- Confident individual with a proactive attitude
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings
- A self-starter, able to demonstrate high levels of initiative and motivation, but also work closely with other team members and display trust and loyalty
- Ability to manage assigned tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner
- Proven ability to deal with confidential matters and with discretion
- Must be able to multi-task and keep calm under pressure
