Position
The People Operations Manager is a remote position based in the Philippines. We are a global organization with team members in the U.S., Canada, and the Philippines. This position will be both strategic and operational in supporting our North American and Philippine teams. With a strong focus on customer service, the People Operations Manager will ensure a seamless and positive experience throughout an employee's career at Kajabi. The Manager will deliver our new hire orientation and ensure employees have a great onboarding experience.
They will manage and maintain our HRIS and employee records, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date. As the frontline point person for employee questions on all HR topics, they will provide answers and triage inquiries to functional HR experts as needed. Additionally, the Manager will oversee employee new hire onboarding, employment lifecycle changes, and off-boarding processes to ensure a great experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. This position will be required to consistently work part of their time in Pacific Standard hours and will report to our
Director, Total Rewards & People Operations.
The Impact you will make
- Contribute to the development of policies, processes, and procedures in North America and the Philippines.
- Leverage data to drive data-informed decisions, improve the team member experience, and establish best practices in resolving short-term issues and identifying long-term opportunities.
- Act as an initial point of contact for the People team related to, but not limited to, benefits, leave management, policies, and recognition for North America and Philippines. Conducts appropriate follow up and closes out inquiries.
- Manage and deliver Philippine onboarding program in coordination with the People team in North America, ensuring a positive experience. Work with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely employee onboarding process, ensuring the completion of all necessary new hire documentation.
- Collaborate with People team members to continuously improve onboarding procedures and enhance the overall employee experience.
- Manage termination processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Act as the expert user in HRIS for North America and Philippines. Responsible for data hygiene and inputting accurate data for onboarding, employee lifecycle changes, and offboarding to ensure a smooth experience for team members.
- Partner in crafting HR-related documents including but not limited to Certificate of Employment and Personnel Action Form.
Attributes for Success
- 5+ years experience as an HR Generalist, HR Operations, or a similar role.
- Knowledge and familiarity with local labor laws.
- Superior written, verbal communication and high attention to detail.
- Enjoy working in a team, partnering with the rest of the People team as well as stakeholders across Kajabi.
- Self-Starter – ability to execute and implement change.
- Passion – for Kajabi’s mission.
- Critical Thinking – strategic and highly analytical.
- Leadership – easily move others to action by planning, motivating, organizing and controlling work being done.

One-On-One Process
The
People Operations Manager
will meet weekly with the Director, Total Rewards & People Operations to catch up and discuss their role. The goal of these meetings is to identify areas where the company and individuals can improve, what areas they’re needing more guidance on, and where the Kajabi leadership team can lend time or resources to help meet goals. It’s also a time to discuss specific expectations and discuss any areas of concern you may have about your job or your team.
