Role
This role is part of a close-knit team based in Finland responsible for our customers’ developer experience, providing a cross-platform SDK used to build the next generation of sports media experiences. While we are a US company, you will primarily be working regular hours for someone based in Finland. In this role, you will be responsible for developing our end-user-facing products, such as MVX, which is prominently featured in Chelsea FC's official app. This is a full-stack role, building on top of our FusionFeed API while also having our own backend services.
You will be expected to switch comfortably between web and mobile development.You will work on initiatives with a significant impact on the company’s success. Your contributions will quickly make their way to the hands of millions of end users.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Wide knowledge of technologies used in internet scale services, both in the cloud and on the users’ devices, including
- Highly available cloud-native architectures using infrastructure as code frameworks such as the AWS CDK
- JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Mobile application development both on Android and iOS
- Video streaming
- Strong computer science fundamentals for reasoning about software system behavior, both on-device and across networks
- Excellent technical communication skills in written media, such as design documentation and code reviews
- Mastery of several, but not all, of the following: TypeScript, AWS, iOS/Swift, Android, Video players and codecs, and/or Golang
