As a Field Engineer specializing in hardware support, you will play a crucial role in successfully deploying and maintaining our products. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of hardware systems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and providing on-site support. This role demands a high level of industrial design and hardware expertise and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities - Provide on-site hardware support for a large-scale project in Puebla, Mexico.- Install, configure, and maintain hardware systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and operational requirements.- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, performing necessary repairs or replacements.- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement design improvements and optimizations.- Conduct regular maintenance checks and ensure the reliability and efficiency of hardware systems.- Provide training and support to local staff on the proper use and maintenance of hardware.- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in industrial design and hardware support.- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Willingness to travel as required to support project needs.Bonus Points- Experience in the biometrics industry.- Previous experience setting up and troubleshooting point of sale (POS) systems.- Familiarity with hardware products and their operational requirements.- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.Confidence GapWe know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply — we’d love to hear from you.About KeyoWe are building a company that reflects the world in which we want to live.
