About the Role: The Team Lead provides operation support and basic supervision to assigned area or department within the Distribution Center. This key role supports the assigned area or department team through monitoring/tracking attendance, supporting production, advising on workflow, reviewing work accuracy and supplying inventory.


Essential Job Functions


  • Prioritize work based on individual department needs (ex: customer needs, shipping method and ship date).

  • Supervise employees and workflow based on departmental needs.

  • Provide guidance and training to team members regarding assigned area of responsibility

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to Supervisor so team members can be held appropriately accountable for all safety, quality, and production goals.

  • Distribute supplies within assigned department

  • Maintain supply inventory in assigned department.

  • Assist where needed based on workload and business needs (ex: pick/pack/stock).

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

  • Value Add Services/Reprocessing
  • Receive Customer Returns verifying against return authorization
  • Communicate discrepancies to Customer Service
  • Complete internal/external reports daily (Units received/processed and billed)

  • Reserve Warehouse
  • Assure all incoming goods are received, stocked, and located properly
  • Prioritize pull list to ensure correct product is being pulled from stock
  • Ensure equipment is in good working order

  • Active Warehouse

  • Sort pick tickets according to ship date
  • Transport work to packing line
  • Communicate with customer service regarding customer orders
  • Shipping
  • Verify accuracy of outgoing shipments
  • Operate the FedEx and UPS shipping lines
  • Assist with lining up and loading trucks in shipping bay
  • Stocking
  • Act as a liaison between reserve warehouse and picking/packing leadership to ensure wave priority adherence - report issues immediately to manager.
  • Ensure stocking bin optimization - minimal to no inventory should occupy end of aisle, floor, or conveyor space for more than 2 hours.
  • Same day error resolution - coordinate with reserve, picking and packing to understand and correct errors same day.
  • Ability to learn and utilize PKMS and PowerBI to troubleshoot errors and confirm priorities.
