SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Interpreting Department Manager
Basic Function
This position is responsible for assisting in all interpreting requests including Conference and Event interpreting which my include non-business hour requests.
Essential Duties
- Support Department in managing correspondence related to event logistics, including emails and phone calls.
- Answer phone and take requests during work hours, as needed.
- Schedule appointments for same day and future appointments for both ASL and FL.
- Data entry of appointment information before appointments occur.
- Maintain and organize event-related documentation
- Perform data entry tasks, such as inputting information into Monday.com and One Drive.
- Compile and organize data for event reports/metrics.
- Assist in the vetting of new resources outside of Indiana. Confirm necessary information is obtained from interpreters to subcontract for LTC. Ensure interpreters have the appropriate knowledge, training, and TB testing in order to work for LTC. Oversee recruiting, vetting, and training of subcontractors for any needs outside of Indiana.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all technical equipment, including tracking usage, conducting regular audits, and ensuring all items are in good working order.
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment for events by performing necessary maintenance, testing, and packing. Ensure that all necessary components are included and ready for transport.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions or issues before, during, and after events, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Department and other team members to understand the specific technical needs of each event, providing support without assuming primary responsibility for event management.
- Post-Event: Assist with the breakdown and proper storage of equipment after events, reporting any issues or damage to the appropriate personnel.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel out of state for events, with the ability to adapt to different cultural environments and manage on-site event logistics in diverse locations.
Additional Duties:
- Providing any other services as needed by LTC
Position Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Experience: Experience working with international vendors and clients, Interpreting or translation experience preferred.Qualifications:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with event management software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, customer service and detail oriented.
