Role & Responsibilities:
- Design and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. Conduct usability testing to refine design decisions.
- UI/UX Development: Implement designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks, ensuring responsive and adaptive solutions.
- User Research and Analysis: Conduct research to understand user needs and behaviors. Analyze feedback to guide design improvements and create user personas and journey maps.
- Leadership: Lead the UX practice, collaborating across teams to establish a consistent design vision and delivering aesthetic, effective visual designs through prototypes.
- Collaboration: Build strong relationships with engineering teams and organizational partners. Present and defend design decisions and participate in design reviews.
- Practice Building: Develop and enhance the UX practice by integrating people, processes, tools, and delivery strategies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: 2+ years in UX design with a focus on enterprise applications, not websites.
- Skills: Strong visualization and creativity, adept at aligning design with business goals. Expertise in human-centric design.
- Tools: Proficient in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Suite.
- Qualities: A team player passionate about building a UX team in a start-up environment, with impeccable taste, a compulsive eye for detail, and a user-centric approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
- Portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design and development work.
