Job Summary:
We seek a skilled Cloud EPM Support Specialist to join our team, responsible for the operational support of Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management Cloud solutions, specifically EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service) and EDMCS (Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service). This role is focused on ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our EPM applications, providing expert-level support to end-users, and maintaining system integrity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support:
- Monitor and manage the daily operations of EPBCS and EDMCS environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration, metadata management, and business rules issues.
- Perform routine health checks, backups, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.
- Manage user access, roles, and security settings aligned with corporate policies.
- · Incident and Problem Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for any operational issues or incidents related to EPBCS/EDMCS.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating to Oracle support or other internal teams as necessary.
- Document incidents and resolutions in a ticketing system, ensuring the knowledge base is updated regularly.
- Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities for improving system performance and user experience.
- Work closely with the implementation team to transition new features into the operational environment.
- Provide input into the development of operational best practices and standard operating procedures.
- · Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate and distribute operational reports, including system performance metrics and usage statistics.
- Assist in the development of custom reports and dashboards to meet specific business needs.
- · User Training and Support:
- Provide end-user support, including training sessions, one-on-one assistance, and the development of user documentation.
- Respond to user inquiries and guide best practices and effective use of the system.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar support role with Oracle EPM Cloud products, specifically EPBCS and EDMCS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and data management processes.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Oracle EPBCS and EDMCS, including system configuration, data integration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with SQL, scripting languages, and Oracle Cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL processes.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other Oracle EPM Cloud products (FCCS, ARCS, etc.).
- Professional certifications in Oracle Cloud EPM or related areas.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
