Role Overview:

As a E-Commerce Manager (Paid Social), you will play a critical role in leading a team of Paid Social Marketers in developing and optimizing clients' Paid Social ad campaigns. Collaborating with Paid Media Marketers, you will devise ad strategies, oversee their implementation, and ensure adherence to department processes and best practices. Your responsibilities include leading client accounts, managing a team of marketers, monitoring industry trends, providing training and mentorship to the Paid Social team on ad buying for Meta, TikTok and additional paid social platforms, and driving revenue while achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) for our clients and agency.

Responsibilities:


  • Leadership and Mentorship: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with the assigned Paid Social team members to provide guidance, support, and mentorship. Discuss individual goals, performance, and professional development, addressing concerns and challenges while providing constructive feedback and recognition for achievements.
  • Campaign Optimization: Perform regular audits of client accounts to assess the quality and performance of campaigns. Review key metrics, performance indicators, and adherence to best practices. Identify areas for improvement and recommend optimization strategies to ensure client satisfaction and the achievement of KPIs.
  • Marketing Effort: Execute Paid Social marketing efforts for key accounts. Develop and execute Paid Social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and others. Conduct in-depth research and audience analysis to identify target demographics and optimize campaign targeting. Create compelling ad copy, headlines, and visuals that align with client objectives and resonate with the target audiences through ongoing creative testing.
  • Resource Allocation and Task Management: Efficiently allocate resources based on team members' skills, workload, and project requirements. Assign tasks that align with their strengths and expertise, monitoring progress and timelines for successful and timely project completion. Proactively balance workload distribution across the team.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and assess the quality of work produced by the Paid Social team, ensuring adherence to best practices and client requirements. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement, conducting regular quality checks to maintain excellence.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and areas for skill development within the Paid Social team. Plan and implement training programs, workshops, or resources to enhance team members' knowledge and capabilities. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to provide relevant training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Case Study Creation: Collaborate with the content team to create case studies highlighting successful campaigns or projects. Provide insights and data related to the team's work and achievements. Contribute to the creation of compelling narratives that showcase the agency's expertise and value.
  • Subject Matter Expertise (SME): Develop and curate content that shares insights, industry trends, and thought leadership through blog posts, articles, or social media. Collaborate with Paid Social team members or external experts to source content that aligns with the agency's expertise and target audience.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the first point of contact for client escalations or issues. Address and resolve client concerns promptly and effectively, collaborating with the account management or sales team. Ensure client satisfaction and retention, escalating issues to senior management if necessary.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Perform weekly data analysis by analyzing KPIs and data related to team projects or campaigns. Identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement. Prepare reports or presentations summarizing the analysis and providing actionable insights. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and achieve better results.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process within the assigned Paid Social team. Set performance expectations, goals, and objectives for team members. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for growth and career development.
  • PTO Request Management: Manage and track assigned team members' requests for paid time off (PTO). Coordinate and schedule their time off accordingly.

Qualifications:


  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, management, or a related field is typically required: This educational background provides a solid foundation in marketing principles, business strategy, and management concepts. It demonstrates a fundamental understanding of the field and provides a basis for strategic thinking and decision-making.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing Paid Social services/teams; agency experience is a plus: The role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing Paid Social campaigns. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience indicates a deep understanding of Paid Social platforms, ad formats, targeting options, and optimization techniques. Experience in an agency setting is desirable as it demonstrates the ability to handle multiple client accounts and deliver results in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Meta and TikTok ad platforms: Meta (formerly Facebook) and TikTok are two popular social media platforms with robust advertising capabilities. A Senior Paid Social Manager should have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with these platforms, including campaign setup, optimization, and reporting. Familiarity with their ad formats, targeting options, and best practices is essential to drive effective results for clients.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management: The Senior Paid Social Manager is responsible for leading a team of Paid Social Marketers. Strong leadership skills are required to provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the team members. Experience in team management, including conducting one-on-one meetings, setting goals, providing feedback, and fostering a positive team culture, is crucial for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills: Effective communication is essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams, presenting campaign strategies to clients, and providing clear instructions to team members. Compensation


  • Job Type: Full-time Employee
  • Annual Base Salary: $85,000 - $95,000/year
