Your Role:
As a Merchandise Planning Strategist, you will be responsible for supporting the clients’ sales strategies through inventory planning and analysis. You will own planning, forecasting, and merchandise strategy for assigned wholesale accounts while providing direction and support to planning analysts over the assigned managed services accounts. You will also be responsible for the seasonal line planning process, assortment range, margin planning and analysis, and setting of inventory targets. You will work collaboratively with other members of the inventory team and internal Account Managers to drive client success.

-Owning the product assortment strategy for assigned accounts and determining product range (WS) around trends, brand initiatives, company goals and targets-Owning line list and product attributes and owning product lifecycle -Managing sales planning, forecasting, and inventory productivity.

-Creating strategic inventory targets to exploit and distort business opportunities -Drives in-season sales and inventory reporting to achieve desirable results-Margin planning and forecasting
Desired Skills & Experience
-4+ years experience in inventory management, planning, merchandising or related field.-1+ years experience in an agency environment preferred but not required-Experience in client facing role and strong presentation and speaking skills with key stakeholders on the client-side-Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills-Strong retail math and analytical skills-Demonstrated skillset in data analysis and critical thinking-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, preferred-The smallest detail is your favorite detail! -- Self-driven with the ability to work independently-Must be able to understand complex environments and projects, pay attention to details and maintain an organized workflow-Excellent planning, project and time management, and decision-making skills with the ability to self-manage numerous projects simultaneously-Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment-Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to foster/maintain relationships across multiple businesses and organizations-Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills preferred
