Check out our GOASG website.Systems EngineerThis role focuses on the core technical processes (ISO/IEC 15288), which identify stakeholder needs, define solutions, and objectively ensure the solution meets the stakeholder needs.
You will be responsible for the list below. Your responsibilities include systems integration, compliance and regulation, verification and validation, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration. Overall, your role as a systems engineer requires a clear understanding of ISO/IEC 15288 and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others to achieve the teams' and projects' goals.Key Responsibilities• Responsible for identifying stakeholder needs, defining solutions, and assuring the solution meets the stakeholder needs.
• Responsible for eliciting and articulating primary needs sources into statements that serve as the basis for opportunity or problem identification.• Responsible for solution design, specification, verification, and validation.• Responsible for Defining solution packages, components, and elements to sufficient detail, facilitating objective functional verification and physical identification of solution construction and design. • Responsible for creating traceable allocation matrices from Needs Statements to Validation results.• Responsible for identifying and articulating solution behavioral and functional architecture as a system of interactions and progressive performance states.
Definition of objective parametric elements and values for each interaction, state, and transition.• Responsible for applying industry and client standards.• Responsible for recognizing and conforming to industry and client safety training, procedures, and responses.Qualifications• Bachelor’s or master’s in systems engineering or a related field.• 2-5 years of experience in systems engineering or a relevant role • INCOSE ASEP completion preferred.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors• Proficient knowledge of ISO/IEC 15288 and INCOSE principles and practices.
• Proficient knowledge of systems thinking, such as conceptual awareness of interdependency, systems analysis, and systems engineering.• Proficient knowledge of Computer Aided Design and relevant solution applications. Software-intensive systems operations, design, and construction.• Skilled in performing mathematics corroborations, rationale, decision dependencies, technical critical path, and strategic-tactical alignment. • Skilled in problem-solving and analytical skills. • Skilled in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
