Role Overview:
The Product Manager at Avenue Z will focus on developing, managing, and improving data analytics platforms used in product strategies. This role combines software product management skills with a strong foundation in data analysis to enhance product offerings and user experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at using analytics to inform product decisions and drive business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Manage the lifecycle of data-driven products from conception through launch and iteration.
- Data Analysis: Leverage analytics to understand user behavior and product performance, driving insights for product improvements.
- Feature Specification: Define requirements for new product features based on data insights and business goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, and analytics teams to align product development with company strategy.
- User Testing: Gather customer and team feedback, work with the Data and Analytics teams to continually optimize and evolve Go-To-Market strategy, focus and execution, aligned to changing market and customer needs.
- Performance Reporting: Monitor product metrics and create reports to track progress against key performance indicators.
- Product Roadmaps: In collaboration with analytics and technology leaders you will own the documentation and materials associated with the product roadmap and remain accountable for delivering on time and on budget.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience: Entry-level position; previous internship or experience in product management or data analytics.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SQL, Elastic Search and Excel for data analysis. Exposure to product management tools and methodologies.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical abilities with a knack for identifying trends and deriving actionable insights from data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear manner.
- Team Collaboration: Eager to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in work, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Compensation
- Job Type: Full-time Employee
- Annual Base Salary: $75,000 - $100,000/year
