Title: General Manager
As our General Manager (GM), you will lead and develop the California region team, driving business growth and managing client relationships across multiple brands. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, setting strategic goals, ensuring regional profitability, and maintaining senior-level client relationships. The GM also ensures the effective execution of business strategies and collaborates closely with the Account Director to optimize client outcomes.

What You’ll Do:


· Lead the development and continuous training of Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Manufacturing, and Client Service departments, strategically expanding team capabilities to align with regional business strategies.· Oversee and coordinate regional operations, including Manufacturing, Warehouse, Assembly, Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Logistics, ensuring productivity and operational excellence.· Drive organizational effectiveness by implementing process improvements, fostering a motivational work environment, and spearheading innovative changes.· Develop and execute strategic plans for regional growth, optimizing productivity, and seeking new business opportunities to expand market presence.· Oversee day-to-day operations, set, and monitor performance goals, maintain project timelines, and ensure adherence to company standards for excellence and quality.· Manage financials and resource allocation, ensuring budget adherence, commercial performance, and accountability for North American business growth.· Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performance teams, providing guidance, feedback, and conflict resolution to enhance organizational success.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:


· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, engineering, or a related field required.· Ten (10) or more years of experience as a General Manager, preferably with five (5) or more years in the retail fixtures development industry or a closely related field.· Extensive experience in both metal and millwork manufacturing environments is essential.· Proven track record of success in a General Manager or equivalent executive-level role.· Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and hold teams accountable.· Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with strong negotiation skills.· Demonstrated ability to develop and achieve financial goals and manage operational procedures effectively.· Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, and other functions.· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.· Detail-oriented with excellent judgment and the ability to meet tight deadlines.· Comfortable with a hands-on approach to driving process improvements.· Ability to perform well under pressure and remain results-driven, with a strategic mindset and strong commercial acumen.
