We’ve helped millions of people find a home they love, and we’re just getting started.We're seeking a skilled Performance/Growth Marketing Manager to join our performance marketing team at Apartment List. This is a high-impact role critical to driving new renter growth and expanding our market presence.
The right candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our acquisition strategy, optimizing our marketing spend, and directly contributing to the company's bottom line. Your work will be instrumental in connecting more renters with their ideal homes and accelerating Apartment List's growth trajectory.This role will be key in driving our user acquisition strategy through paid social channels, exploring new growth opportunities, and shaping our messaging to increase user engagement and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new renter growth by managing and optimizing paid social campaigns, with a primary focus on Meta and YouTube, continuously refining strategies to maximize ROAS
- Identify and develop new marketing channels from 0 to 1, expanding Apartment List's reach and diversifying our acquisition mix
- Design and execute A/B tests across various touchpoints to improve conversion rates, user engagement, and overall campaign performance
- Analyze data to uncover growth opportunities, refine strategies, and provide actionable insights that inform decision-making at all levels
- Develop and present recommendations showcasing progress, results, and strategic initiatives to leadership and cross-functional partners
- Work cross-functionally with brand, finance, analytics, product, and engineering teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and leverage technical capabilities
- Own and be accountable for key performance metrics related to user acquisition, cost per acquisition, and overall marketing efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and best practices
- Contribute to the development of our overall growth marketing playbook, sharing best practices and learnings across the team to elevate our collective performance
Experience:
- 4-6+ years of experience in growth marketing or performance marketing
- Proven track record in managing successful paid social campaigns
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Experience in developing and scaling new marketing channels
- Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Proven ability to deliver against goals
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Looker or similar business intelligence tools
- SQL proficiency
- Native martech & channel exposure
- Familiarity with the real estate or tech industry
Here's the Pay Range:
At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US base salary range for this position is:
- Zone 1: $119,000 - $144,000 + bonus + equity
- Zone 2: $110,000 - $133,000 + bonus + equity
- Zone 3: $101,000 - $122,000 + bonus + equity
This reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the compensation details provided do not include benefits and perks that we offer. We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration.
