About the Role
In this role as a Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for assessing and performing service repairs for our fleet vehicles. Our ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where equipment uptime is critical. You must be able to diagnose and solve problems quickly and go the extra mile! - Ensure Fleet Reliability, all assets to be maintained in a manner that mitigates service interruptions
- Ensure Fleet Availability and return assets to service as quickly as possible
- Available to be “on-call” if requested and promptly respond to work orders
- Address drivers concerns promptly within a 24 hour period
- Maintain a Preventative Maintenance Compliance (PMC) of 98% or higher
- Available to travel to other markets to support Fleet maintenance
What You Should Already Have
- Minimum of 3+ years of mechanic/technician experience
- Must already have the proper tools and equipment of the trade
- Independent self starter that can be effective without constant or immediate supervision
- A great attitude and ability to work well with others - teamwork is key to success!
- Tanker related maintenance experience is a plus
- Must be very familiar with a smartphone and proficient using email
- ASE or AC certifications is a plus
Hourly Rate: $35-$45/hour
