Monday - ThursdayDESCRIPTIONThe Machine Shop produces machined components for both individual parts and sub-assemblies by operating Manual and Computer Numerical Control Machines (CNC); maintaining quality and safety standards; maintaining equipment and supplies. SKILLS & TASK

Ability to operate Manual Mills and Lathes

Demonstrates knowledge on 2 and 3 axis CNC Machines or more

Understands and has a general knowledge of G and M codes

Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications and work instructions

Operates and effectively uses all applicable measurement equipment

Knowledge of Plasma and Water Jet tables a plus

Able to solve, identify potential problems and solutions

Able to identify waste within current processes

Able to lift 50 lbs. and possesses manual dexterity

QUALIFICATIONS

High school or GED equivalent
Prior trade experience
