Currently, autism support via Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is difficult to access and the delivery model must be expanded to provide earlier access to families. Forta is not only providing ABA services to our clients, but we’re also improving the future of the ABA experience for families by creating software and predictive algorithms that elevate clinicians to work smarter by surfacing the latest and most relevant case data. We are working diligently to continuously improve the patient journey and deliver personalized care by applying smart technology and investing in the growth of our world-class team. As a Behavior Technician at Forta, you will play a critical role in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and contribute to meaningful progress in your clients' lives.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans as outlined by the BCBA.
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients in their homes.
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behavior.
- Assist in the development of skill acquisition programs targeting communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills in ABA.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
- No prior experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is necessary.
- Passion for working with children and an enthusiasm for learning how to best serve neurodiverse families.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances as required by state regulations.
$11 - $12 an hour
