The Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer will be a member of a DevOps group which is a part of the team that designs, builds, deploys, and integrates the cloud-ready and cloud-native SaaS product running on major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.GridGain Nebula is a Managed Services offering for Apache Ignite™ and GridGain. It helps our customer's organization to focus on developing applications based on GridGain or Apache Ignite™ without the need for an internal IT team to manage their in-memory computing environment. The GridGain Nebula team applies our best practices and tools backed by decades of experience to maximize the availability of your in-memory computing applications.
REQUIRED JOB DUTIESAs part of the GridGain Nebula team, you will work to automate deployment and management processes for various public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure. In addition, you will be communicating with the dedicated GridGain Nebula support team to share your experience in solving various issues with public cloud providers.ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTSWhat we expect:
- Expert skills in working with public or private clouds (AWS / GCP / OpenStack, etc.).
- Expert skills in working withK8s, Docker, Docker Compose.
- Experience with automation tools for public cloud deployment (ansible, terraform, etc.).
- Good knowledge of network configuration (static routing, subnets, gateways).
- English level – upper-intermediate and above.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Apache Ignite™.
- Java programming experience.
- SQL experience.
- Experience with network utilities (traceroute, ping, nmap, nslookup).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, ELK, etc.).
