Job Description: Logistics and Supply Chain Professionals

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced logistics and supply chain professionals to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in freight management, transportation logistics, and supply chain operations. They should be adept at using technology to optimize logistics processes and improve overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Freight Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of freight transportation. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Carrier Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, negotiate rates, and manage carrier performance to ensure high service levels.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage Cargomatic’s technology platform to optimize logistics operations, including load matching, route planning, and real-time tracking.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends, measure performance, and generate reports for management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technology, to support business objectives and drive growth.

Qualifications:


  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management. Experience with freight forwarding or third-party logistics (3PL) is a plus.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics technology platforms and tools. Experience with Cargomatic’s platform or similar systems is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
