To learn more, visit www.augmedix.com.We are seeking a Senior Medical Documentation Specialist (MDS) Supervisor to oversee our team of Medical Documentation Specialists. The individual will play a crucial role in being a bridge between the MDSs and the Operations Manager. The Supervisor will work closely with multiple teams and help to improve organizational adherence to existing processes and establish new processes. We are looking for a sharp analytical mind with excellent people skills, and a positive attitude toward accepting any challenge.Supervisors are part of the MDS Management team and are assigned to look after the daily operational requirements of MDSs. They are the frontline POCs for any concerns related to MDSs.The role is tailor-made for someone who has experience in dealing with medium to large groups of people and enjoys a fast-moving and dynamic work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities (but are not limited to):


  • Interact with and motivate employees to maintain a positive relationship and overall client (clinician) satisfaction
  • Inspect and take ownership of operational floors to ensure uninterrupted day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and work as cross-functional team members to ensure the successful execution of assigned tasks/projects Manage a specific team of medical documentation specialists (up to 100)
  • Continuous follow-up on team member's performance and address any discrepancy at the earliest
  • Be a leader and mentor to the Medical Documentation Specialists (including performance reviews, orientation, guidance, quality concerns, etc.) to perform at their best potential
  • Provider guidance to team members with any concerns / challenges related to their professional lives
  • Collaborate with the BD Production team to address any work-related issues of team members
  • Foster an environment that ensures zero tolerance toward harassment of any kind
  • Improve the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures in order to sustain and enhance the organization’s internal capacity

Educational Qualifications:


  • Graduation (Bachelor’s) from a recognized, reputed & accredited university
  • Any other Professional certifications (globally recognized) will be considered

Job Requirements:


  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a leadership role with 3-4 years of work experience
  • Having Organizational Management (Leadership) Quality
  • Good knowledge of people management & emotional intelligence
