We recognize the power of a forward-thinking People function. As a Sr. People Program Manager role, you’ll be a key player in driving our key talent management and inclusive initiatives forward. In this multifaceted role, you will oversee a broad range of people programs, including managing our L&D initiatives, DEI, and Social Impact programs. With your strong domain expertise in talent management and program management background, you are expected to drive transformative, people-centered initiatives.
Your contribution will be pivotal in making Apartment List a hub for talent and innovation, where our A-Listers can thrive and excel.
Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team:
- L&D: Design, develop, and deliver innovative and scalable L&D solutions to drive high performance, including leadership and manager programs, DEI learning programs, onboarding and orientation experience (focusing on the first 6 months), and AL University covering key company-wide competencies.
- DEI: Provide strategic direction, mobilize membership, and evolve the operations of the company’s ERGs and DEI Council to deliver value to employees, the business, and local communities.
- Effective HR Programming: Design and manage the successful implementation and administration of other HR programs and initiatives, including pulse surveys, internal communications, and social impact initiatives like our Homebridge Program.
Here are the skills you need to be successful:
- HR Experience: 8+ years of work experience, with experience in program management and 4+ years in talent management.
- Program Management (at large scale): Proven ability to plan, organize, execute, and oversee large-scale programs and initiatives effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple, large-scale initiatives simultaneously.
- Change Management: Expertise in influencing stakeholders to effect organizational change with appropriate executive presence, from planning to monitoring.
- Problem Solving and Critical Thinking: Uses structured thinking and a strong data orientation to identify, break down, and solve complex organizational problems. Effective fire-fighter who sees around corners.
- Facilitation: Skilled in engaging with large groups or individuals at all levels, managing difficult conversations and topics with interpersonal sensitivity and empathy.
Here's the Pay Range:
At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US base salary range for this position is $99,000 - $132,000 + bonus + equity, which reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the compensation details provided do not include benefits and perks that we offer.We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you.
Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration. It is always our goal to hire exceptional talent and we would be happy to share more about compensation during the hiring process.
