Director, Partner Sales
Location: USA – Remote (this is a remote role, but candidate must be physically located in the United States)ABOUT THE ROLEGridGain is seeking a Director, Partner Sales, to join the field sales organization and build on the tremendous growth the company is experiencing. This position reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and has worldwide responsibility. This role will define, develop, and execute the GridGain Partner/Channel Program in alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Responsibilities include achievement of sales and profit growth targets while expanding the company’s market reach through partnerships and channels.
Location: Remote. Anywhere in the US.Required Job Duties:
- Define, develop, manage, and evolve the company’s partner/channel program to increase revenues through third parties such as system integrators, OEMs, resellers and cloud providers.
- The candidate must have proven cross-organizational communication skills and the ability to work well with other teams in sales, marketing, engineering, and finance.
- A proven ability to work closely with key company stakeholders and executives to ensure delivery of program objectives.
- Identify and recruit the optimal types of partners that meet the strategic needs of GridGain and its customers.
- Drive adoption of GridGain products by GridGain partners and channels.
- Build strong technical and business relationships with partners that ensures repeat business to GridGain.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of successful channel management and development experience.
- A demonstrable and proven skill of building and successfully managing partner/channel programs.
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred.
- An extensive knowledge of system integrators, OEMs, resellers, and cloud providers.
- Experience building relationships with global and regional system integrators, OEMs, resellers, and other types of partners.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to focus both technical and business resources as required.
- Ability to direct technical and educational resources for maximum gain.
- International work experience and background interacting with distributed teams in multiple countries and cultures.
- Proactive work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communications and sales skills.
