Join our Talent CommunityThe Opportunity:RMR has an exciting career opportunity for an Inbound Logistic Coordinator to join our growing team! As an Inbound Logistic Coordinator, you will provide support to our suppliers by responding to incoming calls and e-mails to include setting up pickups, providing ETAs for drivers, and assisting suppliers with post pickup reporting such as scale tickets/receiving reports.The Inbound Logistic Coordinator will create supplier purchase orders as requested and create pickup numbers using our internal software system. You will dispatch drivers to include the generation of pickup sheets and unloading reports for incoming loads.
You will manage a database software scale system for incoming scale traffic.Additionally, you will support our sales team by assisting with new supplier onboarding and entering initial and monthly costupdates for freight, equipment, and material purchases. In this role, you will track equipment onsite and offsite &follow up on received shipments to ensure suppliers paymentin a timely manner. This includes communicating with your operations teamabout the status of trailers that have not unloaded and entering the grades received as reported on the unloading reports into our system software. You will troubleshoot service issues, assist with monthly close out, and perform general office duties.As an Inbound LogisticCoordinator, you may be required to work with the freight team to report necessary equipment repairs and ensure equipment is tagged for repair/DOT renewals. You will work closely with our internal freight department to provide driver logs and enter internal freight invoices for payment.
You will ensure outsourced freight bills are sent to our freight department for prompt payment. You will be required to cross train as an Outbound LogisticCoordinator to serve as their back up when needed.How you will make an impact: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Evaluate incoming pickup/delivery requests and determine driver assignments
- Create supplier purchase orders and create pick up numbers within our internal software program.
- Create Swap Sheets and unloading reports for incoming loads
- Manage a computersoftware system based scale to include weighing trucks in/out, generating unloading reports, scale tickets, and dock assignments.
- Troubleshoot problematic conditions affecting service levels and react accordingly to resolve issues
- Provide sales support through supplier reporting needs and updating supplier costs cards
- Determine/evaluate/process freight cost associated with pickup/delivery requests and arrange outside transportation when necessary
- Assist with new supplier onboarding
- Ensure monthly pricing is updated in our system and ensure receiving information is entered into our software program to be exported to accounting for timely payment
- Maintain a shared tracking report of onsite and offsite trailers
- Work closely with our internal freight team to report driver activity/hours for billing as well as challenges that need to be addressed
- Ensure outside freight carriers are paid by forwarding their invoices to the RMRfreight team email.
- Assist with DOT record keeping/ equipment tags for trailers that need to be tagged for repair work.
- Perform general office duties such as answering the phone and filing paperwork.
- Serve as back up to the outbound logistcs coordinator as needed

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Logistic is preferred.
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Previous warehouse/manufacturing office environment experience.
