Role Description:
The Senior Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring successful delivery of projects for FPC Life Sciencesdivision and our clients. As a part of the FPC Life Sciences Team, the Senior Project Manager will be responsiblefor supporting our clients with planning, executing, monitoring, communicating and controlling projects throughouttheir lifecycle. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectivesaround scope, schedule, budget and safety are met.The Senior Project Manager will represent FPC LS in dealings with clients, partners, and suppliers, maintaining ahigh level of professionalism, technical expertise, and ethical conduct.
They will contribute to the growth anddevelopment of the Project Management Team within the Life Sciences Division and support FPC's overallbusiness objectives. The Senior Project Manager will also be the front face of FPC LS in meeting the expectationsof our clients on a day to day basis and representing the business at all levels of stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:● Manage front-end activity to set projects up for success in every aspect● Oversee projects from initiation to closure, ensuring the right scope is delivered on schedule, and budget● Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets● Create a collaborative execution team with delivery partners and suppliers with shared goals● Identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met● Serve as the main point of contact for clients, partners, and suppliers● Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders● Ensure proper documentation and reporting of project progress● Manage project changes and scope creep● Support the development and improvement of project management processes and methodologies● Mentor and train junior FPC LS staff
Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:
The Project Manager should possess the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years project management experience
- Minimum 5 years of working within Life Sciences and/or Pharmaceuticals
- Experience in client management and stakeholder engagement
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams
- Proven ability of creating and managing collaborative teams
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Strong technical understanding of GMP facilities
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferable but not essential
Location
This position is based in the UK and may require occasional travel to client sites or other FPC locations.
