The Marketing Operations Manager role is responsible for architecting and managing the systems, strategic projects/processes, and reporting that support BrightEdge go-to-market efforts. This person will play a key role in integrating technologies, developing workflows that enable marketing execution, and developing programs that optimize our customer’s journey. This role will work closely with VP Marketing to ensure marketing priorities and goals are met.
This position aligns with various teams including sales and products to drive major programs that support the acquisition, conversion, and retention of customers in an enterprise, cloud, B2B environment. Additionally, this role will be the automation guru of the Marketing Department working within Salesforce and Eloqua to manage the system from an end-to-end process of contact management.
Technology & Data Management:
- Ensure data between the website, Eloqua (or marketing automation software), and Salesforce are cleanly mapped and maintained, and that the integration between systems support our go-to-market needs.
- Administer and optimize our entire tech stack including CRM, data & ad platforms, and their integration with our website, Salesforce, Eloqua, and other apps & systems.
- Maintain and optimize data governance efforts including segmentation, validation, cleansing, and augmentation/appending.
- Manage tracking on company website, create landing pages and forms to ensure correct functionality and that we are collecting the right data and storing/reporting as appropriate.
- Oversee the addition of all other technology (i.e. Google Suite, BrightEdge, Zoom) needed to support the organization.
Lead Flow & Automation:
- Knowledge of best practices for sales and marketing operations, automation and workflow processes; understanding & experience with lead management, lead scoring and nurturing and building of web to lead processes.
- Partner with Digital/Growth and Product to launch campaigns built around the prospect and customer lifecycles.
Campaign Execution & Operations:
- Create, manage and monitor campaigns within Salesforce and Eloqua. Including scheduling emails, and creating reports on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis.
- Ensure all webinars and other virtual event programs, including BrightEdge user conference, are appropriately set up and tracked.
- Create scalable, repeatable campaign templates and processes to improve our ability to scale our marketing programs.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Measure the impact and ROI of marketing on pipeline and revenue quarterly goals for management, marketing, and the sales teams. Provide data-driven recommendations on how to optimize ongoing go-to-market plans and campaigns.
- Track all marketing metrics; review the full funnel from website visitor all the way through purchase; including attribution and acquisition costs per channel.
- Build and maintain reports that highlight program performance and ROI.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations roles with a similar stack
- Ability to turn data into a story with action-oriented analysis with visualization
- Significant experience in Salesforce, Eloqua, along with experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and expert in Excel
- Experience evaluating and implementing marketing technologies
- Self-motivated - ability to handle multiple major initiatives simultaneously
- Exceptional project management skills
- Stay on top of best practices for email deliverability, CAN-SPAM, and other digital regulations
