Role:


As a 

PLAN ADMINISTRATOR 


reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer,

your key objectives will be to play a crucial role in facilitating the safe harbor rollover process, managing plan sponsor agreements, and assisting with IRA plan setups. 

Location: 


This is a remote position, but candidates must reside within a 2-hour drive of either Pittsburgh, PA, Charlotte, NC, Milwaukee, WI or Salt Lake City, UT. Occasional travel to one of these cities will be required.

Responsibilities:


The essential responsibilities and duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Track and send plan sponsor agreements for new automatic rollover IRAs and/or plan terminations; working with the advisor and recordkeeper to prepare 30-day notices, transfer data, and issue funding.
  • Track all new voluntary rollover IRAs; managing incoming wire logs; working with recordkeepers directly to resolve any issues that may arise. 
  • Assisting with all new SIMPLE and SEP IRA plan setups.  
  • Maintain a working knowledge of government regulations as they pertain to IRAs. 
  • Manage a caseload of workplace IRA programs. 
  • Partner with the reconciliation team to identify and correct any account reconciliation items.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned. 

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to conscientiously and professionally fulfill your assigned responsibilities

Education and Experience:


  • A minimum of 3 years of 401(k) Recordkeeping experience
  • Experience working with advisors is a plus 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Strong communication skills

  • Must be US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible to work in the US permanently
